Owltoro
I fell in love with owly things lately...
First I bought the owl necklaces and then I made a small tote bag with owl application on it and then 2 days ago I bought the owl flash disc and THEN I know why I love them :D

Pygmalion Chocolate Rum Cake
Wanna try my new dome shaped cake pan and don't know what kind of cake to make. Then suddenly I saw my friend's company logo, PygmalionFashion Shop and BAM! I'm gonna made her a bird cage cake. Her birthday was in 4 days and her wedding day was the next day. It was gonna be a grrreat surprise for her.
I was making sure her schedule with her fiance. I know the situation gonna be hectic on the day before the big day. So, if I couldn't show the cake directly to her, then I had to leave it at her house but I didn't wanna do thaaaaat, I wanna see her face when I surprise her hehe luckily the groom-to-be was nice and really co-operate :D
A little problem when I was baking the dome shaped cake. I though since the dough a little bit thick, I had to bake it slowly with small fire. But after 15 mins, the cake didn't rise. I turned up the heat and it rise so high and cracked hahahaha
Other than that, everything else was going according to my plan, my calculation was correct. I was using 30x30 square pan to make 4 round cake (d=15cm) for the body of the bird cake and 1 dome shaped pan (h=7cm) to make the upper section of the bird cage cake. No trouble when covering the cake with fondant, fiuuuuh... And also I manage to finish it faster than my original plan woohoooo!!!
Time to surprise the birthday-bride-to-be hihihi
On the way to the surprise scene, which is surprisingly no traffic, I picked up a friend which I just suddenly called and asked to join me that afternoon hahaha everything was so sudden. We went to the rented apartment, I carried the bird cage cake, she knocked the door, the door was open, and there's the birthday-bride-to-be. She was surprise to see the both of us and I also surprise when I saw her sitting on floor with scatter flowers everywhere hahahaha she was making her own wedding bouquet.
She didn't realize the cake was her company logo until she stripped the box. Then she went crazy, grabbed her phone and started taking pictures, with flowers, without flowers hahahaha glad she likes it :)

I was busy making my entry for the Suddenly Ghost Master Competition 2011 until 1 AM yesterday. I was planning to sent my entry before 12 PM but turned out making the comic took a little more time than I expected.
I though I was too late to participate but then the administrator, ghostgirl, reply my email and told me the competition is until 29 may 2011 hahahahaha silly me hahahahaha
When I was reading the term, I though all entries must go to their inbox before 29 April and that's why I leave all my jobs-to-do yesterday and work my ass to finish my entry la la la
Oh well, I had fun :)

Mom's New Toy
We bought this funny thing from some art&craft store. Knitting Loom. And had no idea of how to operate the thing hahaha
At first, I tried to read the tutorial book. I got lost. So I looked up some video from youtube and BINGO!
Found one about how to make a baby hat. It was perfect for us as beginners. We need a very simple thing, as simple as possible :D

Sometimes, if I'm not myself and really out of my mind, I wrote fan mail to some of my idol. So far I only wrote to Jason Castro and Mark Kanemura but no reply from them hehe
Back to 2008, the first time I follow American Idol from the audition to their final episode. I never fully watched 1 season or any season. Me and my bestest freind, WW, both of us suddenly love this season 7. I rooted for David Cook and she rooted for Jason Castro. She was crazy in love with him hahaha so I made this artwork just to make fun of her.
the frog prince stuffed doll was my birthday present that I just received from my other bestie
I showed it to her via YM, she was shocked, just saying "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" and suddenly disconnected hahahaha
After a while, she online again and asked me if I wanted to sent the print out version to Jason Castro in USA. She was too shy to sent her artwork by herself. We send it and we never know what happened to our artwork. Did Jason Castro really saw them or they just lay down with another ton of fan mails.

Then in 2010, I watched the So You Thing You Can Dance Season 4 and fell in love with Mark Kanemura. He has a very weird dance style. Very unique. Just loving it hehehe I just send him a fan mail, maybe someday I will make some artwork and present it to him :)

a postcard that I bought at the souvenir shop
A sudden and short trip to Singapore. Bought the plane ticket on Friday (depart at 7.30 on Tuesday and arrive back at 22.10 on Thursday) then I browse the web and booked the ticket for the Voyage de la Vie show. I never booked online tickets before, the Resort World Sentosa crew were really nice and gave me tutor step by step :)
I didn't know why I cannot go to sleep that Monday night, maybe because I drank too much coffee or maybe I'm just too excited to finally see my beautiful / amazing / talented juggler hihihi
First time I knew about Viktor Kee was nearly 10 years ago. I saw some bargain VCDs on some shop. The cover really mesmerized me. When I run the VCD and saw him, it was love at first sight. Viktor Kee and Cirque du Soleil. My journey began. Gonna be a very long journey chasing The Cirque du Soleil ;p
my first cirque du soleil live show was zaia at the venetian hotel-macau back at 2009, maybe I can blog about it someday :D

Arrived at Changi airport around 9.30 local time. A little bit cloudy with some drizzle. So me and mom decided to take cab. Apparently, we got ourself one sophisticated cab. See it for yourself.
taximeter, driver's info and also his cellphone, card swipe, radio, gps, and not sure what was the tiny machine on the upper left.
After put our luggage at the rental apartment room, we went to Mustafa Center to meet my stupid friend and had some lunch. The server a little bit scary, no smile on his face, he's dark and hairy everywhere. But when my mom order some Teh Tarik, he repeated, "Teh tarik for mama." all of us laugh and he finally smiled at us.
lemme see... it's okra, palak paneer, chicken tikka, and naan bread, all is goooooood fooooood :9
With our stomach full, me and my mom continued our trip to Marina Bay Sands, my stupid friend had to go back to work hahaha bye-bye NiQ, thanx for accompanying us :D
The Marina Bay Sands it's one FREAKING ENORMOUSLY HUGE building. I'm not sure where were we when we get off from the bus but this is our first view from inside the building.

it's almost full, not really a good seat though, 2nd floor, 5th row from the back, but at least we got the tickets :)

The show was fabulous!!!
The 1st 60 mins told the story about little Simba, break for 15 mins, then the 2nd 60 mins told the story about the adult Simba. I love the costumes and the props, I know I was sitting too far to pay attention to the details but I'm sure they must be really really cool :D
love the SCAR character, his costume, his cocky attitude, and his voice, villains are so cool hahahaha

We're a little late and the queue probably 15 meters long or more but the service was really fast and the taxi always available. Probably only took us 30 mins waiting.

I'm woke up a little bit late, kinda exhausted from yesterday's excitements hahaha today's trip was to go to Jurong Bird Park. I know Jurong was far from Orchard but never knew it was really really reallllyyyyy far (-___________-)
It said 51 mins long but I didn't know why our MRT terminated 3 times in here and there. So we had to wait for another and another and another MRT to pick us up. So it took almost 1 and a half hours for us to get there. Thank goodness the weather's nice. Time to have fun :D
First stop, Pinguins!!!

We didn't explore the whole park. It was so big and we're too tired to walk around hahaha so we just visited some of it. We saw the Parakeets and got the change to feed them. Then there's Flamingos, Macaws, and Pelicans.

We went to Vivo City to have dinner. Me and my mom really love Vivo City's food court near the Sentosa Express Station and our favorite menu is Rojak. I forgot to take the picture of it since I've been craving that Rojak for so long hahaha
3 times to Vivo City, 3 times to this food court ;p
Didn't have time to explore the Resort, we arrived only 1 hour before the show started. Since, I was borrowing my cousin credit card to buy the online tickets, I was afraid there's gonna be some problem. So we just looked around very quickly, snap here and there, then went to the Festive Grand.

The show was AWEEESOMEEE!!!
For me, it's much much better than the Lion King show hehe I always love live performance, especially circus. I already watched so many circus show on VCDs, DVDs, and even on the TV but the feeling to watch it live is fantastic. The set, the thrill, their speed and accuracy, and the fact that this time the stage was only 2 meters away from where I sat was truly a wonderful experience.

Last day. Since both of us very tired, we just chilled out from mall to mall around Orchard hehehe overall it was a lovely trip. I almost got broke from buying all those ticket shows not to forget the plane tickets and apartment rent but no worries, it was all worthed :)

Last day. Since both of us very tired, we just chilled out from mall to mall around Orchard hehehe overall it was a lovely trip. I almost got broke from buying all those ticket shows not to forget the plane tickets and apartment rent but no worries, it was all worthed :)

Hopefully, I can watch some other Cirque du Soleil show ;)
